Yusef Muhammad (born Byron Onassis Jackson; February 8, 1971 - May 11, 2000), better known by his stage name Yusef Afloat, was an American rapper and record producer from Los Angeles, California. Muhammad was best known as a member of the duo The Nonce alongside Sach, with whom he released the album World Ultimate in 1995 and the EP The Sight of Things in 1998. Muhammad additionally released two solo albums in his lifetime: Full Revolution Music in 1997 and Foreign Objects, which has an unknown release date.

At 3am on May 11, 2000, Muhammad was discovered on the side of the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles. His bike was discovered nearby. Though found alive, he was bleeding but had no bruising or swelling visible. He died in hospital soon after being discovered.[1] Muhammad's cause of death was declared by a medical examiner as being suicide by blunt injuries.[2]
