Youngest in Charge is the debut studio album by 17-year-old American Hip hop artist Special Ed. It was released on May 16, 1989 through Profile Records. Recording sessions took place at Howie's Crib and Q's House in New York City from July 1988 to January 1989. Production was handled solely by Howie Tee.
The album debuted at #73 on the US Billboard 200 and #8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the United States. Youngest in Charge released the singles: "I Got It Made", "Think About It" and "I'm the Magnificent".
In 1998, the album was selected as one of The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums Ever.
