Anerae Veshaughn Brown (born July 30, 1974), better known by his stage name X-Raided, is an American rapper. He was born in Waco, Texas and moved to Sacramento, California when he was young. Brown is a former member of the 24th Street Garden Blocc Crip street gang and was imprisoned in 1992 for gang-related homicide. Despite his imprisonment, he continued to record and release music. He was incarcerated at Pleasant State Valley Prison, a level 4 maximum security prison facility in Coalinga, California. In September 2018, after serving 26 years in prison, X-Raided was released on parole.
