Wild Cowboys is the debut solo studio album by American rapper and Brand Nubian member Sadat X. It was released in July 15, 1996 under Loud Records. Recording sessions took place at Chung King Studios, Platinum Island Recording Studios, D&D Studios and Greene St. Recording in New York City and at Chris Biondo Studios in Washington, D.C. from August 1995 to February 1996. The album did not receive much mainstream attention. it was a popular underground release, partly due to the album's producers, which included Showbiz, Diamond D, Pete Rock, Buckwild, DJ Alamo, Minnesota, Da Beatminerz, DJ Ogee, Ali Malek, Ant Greene Father Time and Dante Ross. It includes guest appearances by Shawn Black, Grand Puba, D.V. Alias Khrist, Money Boss Players, Sha Sha, Deda, Tec, Cool Chuck and Regina Hall.

The album peaked at #83 on the US Billboard 200 and at #13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Wild Cowboys spawned the three singles: "Hang 'Em High" b/w "Stages & Lights", which both of songs made it #98 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the song "The Lump Lump" reached at #85 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #20 on the Hot Rap songs chart.

A sequel to the album, Wild Cowboys II, was released in March 20, 2010.
