Way 2 Fonky is the second studio album by American hip hop musician DJ Quik, released in July 20, 1992 on Profile Records. Recording sessions took place during December 1991 to April 1992 at Skip Saylor Recording in Los Angeles, California. Production was entirely handled by DJ Quik, with co-production supplied by Rob "Fonksta" Bacon. It features guest appearances by Playa Hamm, Hi-C, AMG and 2nd II None.
The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 chart on August 8, 1992, selling 120,000 copies in its first week in the United States and reached #13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album was later certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for three months after its release on October 9, 1992. On March 21, 1994, the album was certified platinum for selling over 1,500,000 copies.
Way 2 Fonky released the two singles: "Jus Lyke Compton" and the title track "Way 2 Fonky". The album received generally positive reviews from critics.
