Victor Kwesi Mensah (born 6 June 1993), better known by his stage name Vic Mensa, is an American rapper from Chicago, Illinois. He was a member of the band Kids These Days before they broke up in May 2013. Following their breakup, he released his major debut solo mixtape INNANETAPE. Vic Mensa is also a member of the collective SAVEMONEY and frequently collaborates with fellow member Chance The Rapper.
After his debut single "Down on My Luck" achieved international success, Vic Mensa signed to Roc Nation. In 2015, he released several songs via Soundcloud, including the Kanye West collaboration "U Mad". In 2016, he released his debut EP There's a Lot Going On.
