Too Hard to Swallow is the debut studio album by American hip hop duo UGK, released in 1992 on Jive Records. It is one of the first Southern hip hop albums released on a major label. The album features several songs that were previously released on the EP The Southern Way, released that same year on the independent label Bigtyme Recordz. The album initially released only on cassette and vinyl, and it would not be released on CD until 2001.
