Tony Pizarro an American record producer, songwriter, and audio engineer from Puerto Rico. He is recognized as one of hip-hop's top producers, best known for co-writing and producing 2Pac hit single "Dear Mama". Pizarro played an instrumental role in shaping the sound for Shakur's Me Against the World album, contributing to one of the most influential albums in hip-hop history.
Pizarro, originally a multi-talented musician, gained recognition in the hip-hop scene during the early 90's as Ice-T recording and mixing engineer. After mixing the radio version of the hit song "I Wanna Sex You Up" by Color Me Badd, in collaboration with renowned hip-hop producer Howie Tee. Pizarro received an invitation to work directly with Ice T.
Several years after Shakur's death, Pizarro reemerged as an executive producer/A&R at Def Jam Recordings. Pizarro worked for artists including DMX, Rick Ross, Scarface, M.O.P., Capone-N-Noreaga, WC and Keith Murray.
