Tical 2000: Judgement Day is the second studio album by American rapper Method Man, released in 1998 on Def Jam Recordings. The album's title and overall theme were heavily influenced by the apocalypse theories surrounding the forthcoming end of the second millenium. Judgement Day features production from Wu-Tang Clan affiliates RZA, True Master, Inspectah Deck and 4th Disciple, as well as Erick Sermon, Havoc and Trackmasters, amongst others. The album also features a multitude of guest appearances from artists such as Redman, Mobb Deep, Left Eye, D'Angelo and various Wu-Tang Clan members and affiliates such as Streetlife, who appears on seven of the album's twenty-eight tracks.
The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, while selling 411,000 copies in its first week. In December 1998, one month after its release, Tical 2000 was certified platinum in sales by the RIAA. Upon its release, the album received mostly positive reviews from critics, though several disapproved of its excessive number of skits.
