Tical (acronym for Taking Into Consideration All Lives) is the debut solo album by American rapper and Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man. It was released on November 15, 1994 via Def Jam Recordings. Recording sessions took place at 36 Chambers Studios, Chung King Studios, Firehouse Studios and Platinum Island Recording Studios in New York City through September 1993 to July 1994. Production was handled entirely by group member RZA, with co-production from 4th Disciple and Method Man himself. It features guest appearances by RZA, Inspectah Deck, Carlton Fisk, Streetlife, Blue Raspberry and Raekwon. It was the first Wu-Tang solo album released after the group's debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).
The album peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the United States. Tical released the two singles: "Bring the Pain" and "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By". On January 18, 1995, the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and on July 13, 1995, the record was certified platinum for sales of over 1,000,000 copies in the US. Tical was a critical and commercial success, also the album was well received by music critics.
