Corey Lloyd Brown, better known by his stage name Threat, is an American rapper from Los Angeles, California. Brown emerged in the West Coast hip hop scene as an affiliate of Ice Cube in the early 1990s, appearing on albums by Yo-Yo, King Tee, 2Pac and Tha Alkaholiks. In 1992, he signed to Mercury Records and released his only studio album, Sickinnahead, the following year. Brown contributed the song "Lettin' Niggas Know" to the soundtrack of the 1995 film Friday. In 1997, he appeared on longtime associate DJ Pooh's album Bad Newz Travels Fast before disappearing from the hip hop scene for a few years.
In 2002, Brown appeared on K.F. Klik's album Gangsta Khemistry, his first guest appearance in five years. Over the following years, he contributed to albums by King Tee, Kali's Finest and Defari. In 2007, he appeared on the West Coast remix of Nas' song "Where Are They Now".
