The One is the debut studio album by American Hip hop artist Chubb Rock. It was released on May 14, 1991 through Select Records. Recording sessions took place at Chung King House of Metal, Inc. in Manhattan, New York City from April 1990 to January 1991. Production was handled entirely by Howie Tee and Chubb Rock himself, with additional production from Trackmasters. It features guest appearances from 3rd Bass, Lucas, Red Hot Lover Tone, The A.T.E.E.M., The Lady of Rage (as Rockin' Robin) and Rob Swinga.

The album peaked at #71 on the Billboard 200 and #13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The One spawned the singles: "Treat 'Em Right" (which reached #95 on the Billboard Hot 100, #33 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks and #1 on the Hot Rap Singles chart), "Just the Two of Us", "The Chubbster" and "The Big Man".
