The Latch-Key Child is the debut studio album by American Hip hop artist from Long Island, New York A+. It was released in August 27, 1996 via Universal Records and Kedar Entertainment. Recording sessions were mostly held at Battery Studios in New York City from July 1995 to March 1996. The production was handled by Buckwild, The Smith Bros., Fabian Hamilton, MoveIke Lee and Miladon. It includes guest appearances by AZ, Prodigy (of Mobb Deep) and Q-Tip (of A Tribe Called Quest.
The Latch-Key Child spawned the two singles: "Party Joint" and "All I See".
