The LP is the solo debut studio album by American hip hop artist and producer Large Professor, officially released in 2009 on Paul Sea Productions. Recorded the album in May 1995 and January 1996 at Mirror Image Studios, Battery Studios and Mix B Studios in New York City. The album was shelved by Geffen Records after several delays. The songs "The Mad Scientist" and "Ijuswannachill" were released as singles, and the album was heavily bootlegged before its official release. Large Professor regained rights to the recording in 2002, and released a promo version in 2002 before releasing a new version of the album in 2009.

The LP is produced almost entirely by Large Professor, with one song each produced by Toney Rome and Vandemator. Past collaborators Nas and Cee-Low make guest appearances. The album has received positive reviews from critics.
