The Imperial is the debut studio album by American Hip hop group Flipmode Squad (consists of Rampage, Spliff Star, Lord Have Mercy, Baby Sham, Rah Digga and Busta Rhymes. It was released in September 1, 1998 through Elektra Records and Violator Records. Recording sessions was mostly taken place at Soundtrack Studios in New York City from August 1997 to April 1998. The production on the album was handled by DJ Scratch, Busta Rhymes, Swizz Beatz, M.D., Da Beatminerz, Rockwilder, L.E.S. and Tony Touch.
The Imperial spawned the singles: "Cha Cha Cha", "Everybody On The Line Outside" and "Everything".
