The Great Adventures of Slick Rick is the debut album by American hip hop musician Slick Rick, released in 1988 on Def Jam Recordings. The album is among the few to receive a perfect five-mic score from The Source magazine. In 1988, it was selected by the magazine as one of the 100 Best Albums.

It topped the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for five nonconsecutive weeks and peaked at #31 on the Billboard 200. The song "Children's Story" is often regarded as one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time, and is a perfect example of Slick Rick's storytelling abilities which would go on to define his rapping style.
