The Biz Never Sleeps is the second studio album by Biz Markie, released in 1989 on Cold Chillin' Records. The album was produced by Biz Markie and his cousin Cool V instead of the Cold Chillin' in-house producer Marley Marl, who had produced the entirety of Biz's debut album Goin' Off (1988).
The album proved to be a success, peaking at #66 on the Billboard 200 and #9 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It produced Markie's most well-known and commercially successful song, "Just a Friend", which made it to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #5 on the Hot Rap Singles. The album was certified gold by the RIAA on 24 April 1990.
The album was reissued by Traffic Entertainment Group on CD and LP in 2012.
