Techno Hop Records was an American record label founded in 1984 by The Unknown DJ. The label and Unknown's production wing Big Beat Productions assisted in popularising the West Coast electronic hip hop subgenre. The label was mainly active in the mid-1980s before The Unknown DJ began working almost exclusively with flagship artists Compton's Most Wanted. Techno Hop formed with Alonzo Williams' Kru-Cut Records to form Techno Kut Records in 1988.
