Faheem Rashad Najm (born 30 September 1984), better known by his stage name T-Pain, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper and record producer. His debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga, was released in 2003 and featured the successful singles "I'm Sprung" and "I'm 'n Luv (wit a Stripper)". In 2005, T-Pain released his second studio album Epihany, which reached #1 on the Billboard 200. His third studio album, Thr33 Ringz, was released in 2006. His fourth studio album, Revolver, was released in 2010 and failed to match the success of his previous albums.
T-Pain is the founder of the record label Nappy Boy Entertainment, released in 2003. Throughout his career as a singer, T-Pain is known for using and popularising the creative use of the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect, used with extreme parameter settings to create distinctive vocals sounds. From 2006 to 2010, T-Pain was featured on more than 50 chart-topping singles, with his most successful feature to date being on Flo Rida's "Low" which has been certified 6x platinum.
