Larry Darnell Griffin Jr. (born August 3, 1976), better known by his stage names S1 and Symbolyc One, is an American record producer and rapper from Waco, Texas. He founded the group Strange Fruit Project and is currently signed to Kanye West's Very GOOD Beats label as a producer.

In 1996, he formed the group Symbolyc Elementz with his cousin, Myth, and they were featured in The Source magazine's Unsigned Hype section. The two later met Myone of Indiana, and together they formed Strange Fruit Project. In his role as main producer of the group, S1's style and production range includes R&B, soul, underground and urban/crossover pop. The group has released five studio albums.

As a platinum-selling producer, S1 has worked with artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Eminem, Talib Kweli, The Game, Ghostface Killah, Little Brother, Beyoncé, Madonna and Erykah Badu. Prominent collaborations include "Power" by Kanye West from the Grammy-winning album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and Beyoncé's "Best Thing I Never Had" off her album 4, both tracks certified platinum. He also worked on West's Grammy-nominated albums Yeezus and Watch the Throne, a joint project with Jay-Z.
