Patrick Charles, better known by his stage name Streetlife, is an American rapper from New York City, New York. He was born in the Bronx, moved to Houston, Texas in his childhood, and then moved to Staten Island. Streetlife is best known for his close association with the Wu-Tang Clan, particularly Method Man. He has been featured on every album by the group since 1997.
Streetlife debuted in 1994 on Method Man's first album Tical with an appearance on the song "Mr. Sandman". He made two appearances on Wu-Tang Clan's Wu-Tang Forever in 1997, and then made multiple appearances on Method Man's second album Tical 2000: Judgement Day, after which he continued to make appearances on Wu-Tang Clan albums and on the members' various solo projects.
His debut solo album was intended to be released in the late-1990s, but was delayed multiple times. It was eventually released in 2005 under the title Street Education.
