Gregory Skyler Taylor (born 24 December 1982), better known by his stage name Skyzoo, is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He began his career by releasing his own mixtapes throughout New York, and was discovered by North Carolina-based collective Justus League, who he collaborated with on several projects. Skyzoo released his debut album, Cloud 9: The Three Day High as a collaboration with record producer and fellow Justus League member 9th Wonder in 2006. He released his second album and debut solo effort, The Salvation, in 2009, which remains as his most commercially succesful album. He released a collaboration album with record producer Illmind, Live from the Tape Deck, in 2010. His second solo album, A Dream Deferred, was released in 2012. He collaborated with fellow rapper Torae on the album Barrel Brothers in 2014. His third solo album, Music for My Friends, was released in 2015. Skyzoo's most recent release was the album The Easy Truth in 2016, a collaboration with producer Apollo Brown.
