Shut 'Em Down is the third studio album by American hip hop group Onyx, released in June 2, 1998 on Def Jam Recordings and Jam Master Jay Records. Recording sessions took place at Streetlight Studios and Sound On Sound Studios in New York City and Track Record Studios in North Hollywood from August 1996 to October 1997. Production was handled by Keith Horne, Self, DJ Scratch, Bud'da and Latief, with co-production from Clay The Raider and Onyx themselves. It features guest appearances from DMX, Choclatt Jared, Clay The Raider, Big Pun, Noreaga, 50 Cent, Bonifucco, All City (J.Mega & Greg Valentine), Mr. Cheeks (of Lost Boyz), Still Livin' & X-1 (of Gang Green), Raekwon, Method Man and Killa Sin (of Killarmy).

The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Shut 'Em Down released the singles: "The Worst", "React", "Broke Willies" and the title track "Shut 'Em Down" (which made it to #61 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks and #43 on the US Hot Rap Singles chart). The album sold fairly well, moving over 500,000 units. It has acheived gold status in sales by the RIAA.
