Sean DeJean Price (March 17, 1972 - August 8, 2015) was an American rapper and member of the hip hop collective Boot Camp Clik. He came to fame as half of the duo Heltah Skeltah, performing under the name Ruck, alongside Rock. Price made his debut in 1995 on the Smif-n-Wessun album Dah Shinin'. Heltah Skeltah released their debut album, Nocturnal, the following year. The duo would go on to release two more albums: Magnum Force in 1998 and D.I.R.T. in 2008.
In the 2000s, Sean Price established himself as a strong force in the underground hip hop scene. He released his debut solo album, Monkey Barz, in 2005 to positive reviews. Price would follow up the album in 2007 with Jesus Price Supastar and later with Mic Tyson in 2012. He was featured in the video game NBA 2K11 as a playable character in street mode. In 2011, he released the album Random Axe as part of a group consisting of himself, Guilty Simpson and producer Black Milk.
On 8 August 2015, Sean Price died at the age of 43 in his Brooklyn apartment. The cause of his death was not released.
