Safe + Sound is the third studio album by American hip hop musician DJ Quik, released in 1995 on Profile Records. Although still signed to Profile, DJ Quik had begun associating with Death Row Records, and this album is even executive produced by Death Row CEO Suge Knight. Produced predominantly by DJ Quik, he expands on the G-funk sound established on his two previous albums, but uses more live instrumentation in favour of samples. The lyrical themes on this album centre on sex, partying, and disses, predominantly aimed at longtime rival MC Eiht. Guest appearances are made by Quik's associates Hi-C, 2nd II None and Playa Hamm, as well as Kam.
The album peaked at #14 on the Billboard 200, and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. It has been certified Gold in sales by the RIAA.
