Dequantes Devontay Lamar (born 4 October 1989), better known by his stage name Rich Homie Quan, is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He is signed to independent label RAIS LLC. and Motown Records. Lamar rose to success through the release of several independent mixtapes from 2012 to 2017, and for appearing on the singles "My Nigga" by YG and "Lifestyle" by Rich Gang. He released his debut studio album, Rich as in Spirit, in 2018.
