Reminisce K. Mackie (born Reminisce K. Smith; 30 May 1980), better known by her stage name Remy Ma, is an American rapper from the Bronx, New York. She first rose to prominence as a member of the Terror Squad collective, and was featured on the group's hit single "Lean Back" from their second album True Story in 2004. Remy Ma released her debut solo album, There's Something About Remy: Based on a True Story, in 2006 to moderate reviews and sales. To date, it remains as her sole studio album, although she has released multiple mixtapes.

In 2008, Remy Ma was convicted of shooting a female friend in the abdomen over a missing sum of $3,000 and was sentenced to eight years in the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women. The day of her sentencing, Remy Ma married rapper Papoose, whom she is still married to. She was released from prison in August 2014 after serving six years. In 2015, Remy Ma joined the cast of VH1's Love & Hip Hop: New York for its sixth season.
