Marlanna Evans (born January 21, 1983), better known by her stage name Rapsody, is an American rapper from Snow Hill, North Carolina. She began her career as a member of the North Carolina-based hip hop group Kooley High. Evans made her commercial debut on 9th Wonder's 2007 album The Dream Merchant 2, and subsequently signed to 9th Wonder's label It's a Wonderful World Music Group.
Evans' debut solo album, The Idea of Beautiful, was released in 2012. Her second album, Laila's Wisdom, was released in 2017. Evans' third studio album, Eve, was released in 2019.
