Rahzel M. Brown, better known by his mononym Rahzel, is an American beatboxer and rapper from New York City, New York. He first rose to prominence as a member of The Roots, before embarking on a solo career with the release of his 1999 album Make the Music 1999.
Rahzel is known for his ability to sing or rap while simultaneously beatboxing, as evidenced in his performances of "Iron Man" and his signature song "If Your Mother Only Knew".
