Quincy Delight Jones III (born 23 December 1968), also known as QDIII or QD3, is an American record producer and filmmaker. The son of music legend Quincy Jones, Jones was born in London and grew up in Sweden.
Jones was a respected record producer in the West Coast hip hop scene during the 1990s, producing for artists such as 2Pac, Ice Cube, Too $hort, LL Cool J and Westside Connection. He later experienced success when he founded QD3 Entertainment, which became known for the Lil Wayne documentary The Carter and hip hop feud series Beef.
