Ahmir Khalib Thompson (born 20 January 1971), better known by his stage name ?uestlove or Questlove, is an American drummer, DJ, music journalist and record producer. He is best known as the drummer and joint frontman (alongside rapper Black Thought) for the Grammy Award-winning hip hop band The Roots.
He has produced for artists including Common, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, John Legend, Amy Winehouse and Elvis Costello. Questlove is a member of the Soulquarians, The Randy Watson Experience, The Soultronics and The Grand Wizzards.
