Damani M. Thompson (born April 29, 1974), better known by his stage name Phesto Dee, is an American rapper and record producer from Oakland, California. He is best known as a member of the group Souls of Mischief and collective Hieroglyphics. Thompson has contributed to all six Souls of Mischief albums, as well as every Hieroglyphics group album.
Thompson was the last member of Souls of Mischief to release a solo album, releasing Background Check in 2012. He released his second solo album, Infrared Rum, two years later.
