OverDoz. is an American hip hop group from Los Angeles, California. The group consists of rappers Joon and P, rapper/singer Kent Jamz, and non-musical comedian Cream. The group are known for their humourous and fun lyrical content, and energetic conceptual live shows and music videos.
The four members of OverDoz. were close childhood friends, and the group was later established when Kent and P reunited in a music studio they were both recording at in 2008. They expanded the group to incorporate Joon and Cream soon afterwards. OverDoz. made their debut in 2008 with the mixtape Bowties and Rosaries, followed by Nova in 2010. Their 2011 mixtape, Live For, Die For, launched the group into success within the Los Angeles music scene. Their fourth mixtape, Boom, was released in 2013, and featured the popular single "Lauren London". The aforementioned single caught the attention of producer Pharrell Williams, who later collaborated with the group on their 2015 single "Last Kiss". OverDoz. signed with Polo Grounds Music and RCA Records in 2013, and released their debut studio album, 2008, in 2017.
