Order in the Court is the fourth studio album by American Hip hop female artist Queen Latifah. It was released on June 16, 1998 via Flavor Unit Records and Motown Records. Recording sessions took place at Skip Sailor Recordings in Los Angeles, California and at Giant Studios, The Hit Factory and Soundtrack Studios in New York City from May 1997 to March 1998. Production was handled by Mike "Suga" Allen, Diamond D, Big Baby, Divine Styler, Martin "Kendu" Issacs, Big Jaz, Marcus "DL" Siskind, DJ Clark Kent, Kay Gee, Pras, Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis and Chad "Dr. Ceuss" Elliott. It includes guest appearances by Apache, Antonique Smith, Next, Le Femme Markita, Inaya Jafan, Nikki D, Scarlet, Lil' Mo, Jaz-A-Belle and Faith Evans.
Order in the Court released the singles: "Paper", "Bananas (Who You Gonna Call?)" and "Brownsville". This would be Latifah's last album with Motown Records.
