Operation: Doomsday is the debut solo studio album by British-American hip hop musician MF DOOM, It was released on April 20, 1999 via Fondle 'Em Records. Recording sessions took place at MF Grimm's Basement in New York City from March 1997 to February 1998. Production was handled entirely by MF Doom himself, with co-production by X-Ray Da Mindbenda, Ill Clown and Big Lou. It includes guest appearances by Pebbles the Invisible Girl, Doom's alias King Geedorah and Monsta Island Czars members: Kong, Kwite Def, Megalon, X-Ray, Rodan, MF Grimm and Kurious. It marks his return to the hip hop scene after the disestablishment of his former group KMD in 1993. The album is produced entirely by DOOM himself.
Operation: Doomsday released the four singles: "Hey!", "Gas Drawls", "Dead Bent" and "?".
