Obie Trice III (born 14 November 1977) is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. He is best known for his tenure signed to Shady Records from 2000 to 2008. Since leaving the label, he has set up his own record label, Black Market Entertainment.

After becoming acquainted with Proof at rap battle spots around Detroit, Trice met Eminem through fellow D12 member Bizarre. He signed to Eminem's Shady Records, and released his debut album, Cheers, in 2003 to positive reviews from critics. His second album, Second Round's on Me, was released in 2006 to more mediocre reviews. In 2008, Trice departed Shady due to him believing that he was being promoted properly, but left on good terms with Eminem.

Trice released his third studio album, Bottoms Up, on his own label Black Market in 2012, and featured contributions by Eminem and Dr. Dre. He released his latest album, The Hangover, in 2015.
