N.W.A. and the Posse is a compilation album featuring various Dr. Dre-produced tracks and marketed as an album by N.W.A, released in 1987 by Macola Records. It includes previously released songs by N.W.A, Eazy-E, Fila Fresh Crew, and Rappinstine. The cover photo is the same as N.W.A's "Panic Zone" single and features people who do not appear on the record.

On the album cover, the group name has a period at the end, while on later albums by the group, there would be no third period. N.W.A. and the Posse was re-released in 1989 on Ruthless Records, substituting another N.W.A song, "A Bitch Iz a Bitch", for the song "Scream" by Rappinstine.

The album peaked at #39 on Billboard magazine's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album was certified gold by the RIAA in 1994 and has sold over 700,000 copies.
