N.O.R.E. (an acronym for N*!#+s On The Run Eating), is the solo debut studio album by American rapper N.O.R.E.. It was released in July 7, 1998 through Tommy Boy Records and Penalty Records. Recording sessions took place at Criteria Studios in Miami and Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village, New York from June 1997 to February 1998. Production was handled by L.E.S., Swizz Beatz, Marley Marl, The Neptunes, Trackmasters, SPK, Dame Grease, Nasheim Myrick, Duro, EZ Elpee, Kurt Gowdy, and Jay "Waxx" Garfield. It includes guest appearances from Nature, Cam'ron, Big Pun, The LOX members: Styles P & Jadakiss, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Kool G Rap, Spliff Star, Musalini, Maze, Kid Capri, Chico DeBarge and Carl Thomas.

The album debuted at #3 on the US Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album was later certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with the sales of 165,000 copies in its first week of release. N.O.R.E. spawned the three singles: "Superthug" (which peaked at #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached #1 on the Hot Rap Singles chart), "Banned From T.V." and the title track "N.O.R.E." (which peaked at #59 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and reached #32 on the Hot Rap Songs chart).
