Mr. Scarface Is Back is the debut solo album by American rapper Scarface. It was released in October 8, 1991 via Rap-A-Lot Records, with distribution by Priority Records. Recording sessions took place at B.P.M. Recording Studio and Sound Arts Recording in Houston, Texas through September 1990 to July 1991. Production was handled by Scarface, Crazy C, Doug King, John Bido, Roland, Sam and James Smith, with Cliff Blodget and James Smith himself serving as executive producers.

On November 9, 1991, The album peaked at #51 on the Billboard 200, #13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart in the United States. Mr. Scarface Is Back released the two singles: "Mr. Scarface" and "A Minute to Pray and a Second to Die" (which both songs had minor success on the rap charts). On April 23, 1993, the album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling 50,000 copies in the United States.
