David P. Hobbs, better known by his stage name Mr. Mixx, is an American rapper, record producer and DJ. He is best known as a founding member of the 2 Live Crew, and his production work for the group was a heavy element in the creation of the Miami bass genre.

He released his debut album, One Monkey Don't Stop No Show, in 1994 after leaving the group for the first time. He reunited with the group the following year, before leaving again in 1996. He released a series of albums titled Bass from da Bottom with producer Billy Vidal from 1995 to 1996. Mr. Mixx released three more solo albums in the following years: The Sex Files in 1998, Nasty Controversial & Unauthorized in 2002, and The Money and the Booty in 2009.
