Moruf Adedayo Adewunmi (born 16 March 1988), better known by his stage name Moruf, is a Nigerian-American rapper from Irvington, New Jersey. He made his debut in 2010 with the EP Garden State of Mind: The Prelude, which was followed by the mixtape Garden State of Mind: Ready to Live the following year. In 2012, he met Los Angeles-based producer Iman Omari, and the two collaborated to release the album Euphoria that same year.
2013 saw the release of Shades.of.Moo, which featured production work from Madlib, Knxwledge, Iman Omari and THC, among others, and received positive reviews from critics. He is currently working on a sequel with Iman Omari entitled Euphoria 2 and is also working with MeLo-X on an album.
