"Mind Playing Tricks on Me" is a song by Geto Boys, released as a single in 1991 on Rap-A-Lot Records and featured on the 1992 album We Can't Be Stopped. Although originally intended as a three-verse Scarface solo song, the song was expanded to include Willie D and Bushwick Bill, with the latter performing what was meant to be Scarface's third verse. The lyrics involve the rappers sharing personal experiences of paranoia, fear, and violent encounters. Scarface also served as the song's producer and sampled "Hung Up on My Baby" by Isaac Hayes.

Although the group had previously received virtually no radio airplay, the song became a hit, earning the group a following in New York and Los Angeles - markets that were previously difficult for Southern hip hop artists to reach. It reached #23 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #1 on the Hot Rap Singles charts, making it the only number-one single by the group. It is often regarded as one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time and inspired a whole generation of rappers to write about the mental stress of the gangsta lifestyle.
