Mia Young (born 9 January 1971), better known by her stage name Mia X, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the first female artist to sign with Master P's No Limit Records, on which she released the albums Good Girl Gone Bad in 1995, Unlady Like in 1997 and Mama Drama in 1998. This would turn out to be her most successful album debuting at # 8 on billboard 200 selling 98,000 copies in its first week, and selling over 500,000 copies 2 weeks later. As of the year 2000, Mama Drama has been certified double platinum selling 2,800,000 copies in the United States. A sisters Story was supposed to be released in Dec of 1999 but due to changes at the lable and mia x feud with the lable the album never materialized.
