Johnny Burns (1979 – 4 July 2000), better known by his stage name Mausberg, was an American burgeoning hip hop artist from Compton, California. He was a protégé of famed West Coast producer and rapper DJ Quik, whom he met at a local concert in 1997. Mausberg was mugged, shot and killed in his hometown, at the early age of 21.
