Main Source was an American hip hop group from New York City. The original group consisted of Canadian brothers and DJs Sir Scratch and K-Cut, and Queens rapper/producer Large Professor. After Large Professor left the group in 1992, Mikey D, also from Queens, took over his role as frontman and rapper. The group disassembled after the unsuccessful release of their second album.
