Otis Jackson, Jr. (born October 24, 1973), better known by his stage name Madlib, is an American DJ, record producer, and rapper. Known under many pseudonyms, he is one of the most prolific and critically acclaimed hip hop producers of the 2000's and has collaborated with many hip hop musicians, such as Freddie Gibbs (as MadGibbs). Madlib has described himself as a "DJ first, producer second, and last".
