Lootpack is an American hip hop group from Oxnard, California. Currently signed to Stones Throw Records, the group consists of Madlib, Wildchild and DJ Romes. They made their debut appearance in 1993 on 21 & Over, the debut album by Tha Alkaholiks.
Lootpack's debut solo release, Ill Psych Move EP, was released in 1996 on an independent label, and caught the attention of Stones Throw founder Peanut Butter Wolf, who signed them to his label. They released their sole studio album, Soundpieces: Da Antidote!, in 1999 to moderate acclaim.
A follow-up album has not been released, but all three members have since collaborated on each other's projects and solo records. Wildchild's 2003 album, Secondary Protocol, features all Lootpack members and is the closest thing to a second album.
