Darryl Kevin Richardson (born 1984), better known by his stage name Lil Scrappy, is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Lil Scrappy was discovered by Lil Jon while performing at a bar, and was one of the first signings to Lil Jon's BME Recordings. He has built a strong reputation and following throughout the Atlanta hip hop scene and Southeastern United States through various mixtape releases. 

Since 2012, he has appeared in the television series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta
