Life Is...Too $hort is the second album by American rapper Too $hort, released in 1988 on Dangerous Music. Released one year after his debut Born to MackLife Is... features similar topics that deal with pimping, drug use and sexual antics. The album is produced in its entirety by Too $hort himself, and was co-produced by past collaborators Randy Austin, Ted Bohanon and Al Eaton. It features the debut appearance of Rappin' 4-Tay on the song "Don't Fight the Feelin'". Music videos were made for the title track and "I Ain't Trippin'". 

The album received positive reviews from critics. It is currently his highest-selling album to date, and has been certified triple platinum by the RIAA for sales of over three million copies.
