Jerry Buddy Long Jr. (born March 10, 1969), better known by his stage name Kokane, is an American rapper from Pomona, California. He is perhaps best known for his appearances on Dr. Dre's album 2001 and Snoop Dogg's album Tha Last Meal. He began his career at Ruthless Records, where he co-wrote songs for N.W.A and Above the Law. His eccentrical vocal approach consists of half fluid rapping and half quasi G-funk-influenced singing.

Kokane released his debut album, Addictive Hip Hop Muzick, under the stage name Who Am I? in 1991. His second album, Funk Upon a Rhyme, was released in 1994 and his first under the stage name Kokane. He left Ruthless after the death of its co-founder Eazy-E and reappeared four years later with a solo album entitled They Call Me Mr. Kane, but it did not achieve much commercial success.

Kokane appeared on the song "Some L.A. Niggaz" from Dr. Dre's 1999 album 2001, and this encounter led to the beginning of his relationship with Snoop Dogg. He appeared on six songs from Snoop Dogg's 2000 album Tha Last Meal. Kokane continues to make music today and still contributes to the West Coast hip hop scene.
